What are you thankful for

Yeah I know it’s clique on Thanksgiving Week, to do a blog about what you are thankful for. Then again I’m not above using cliques for posts. In this new season of great promise I was wondering what the Sunderland Fans are thankful for.
I’m thankful for Steve Bruce. It seems like finally St. Niall has given us a manager who knows the game well enough to be able to play the top teams instead of run from them. (yes that’s a Ricky shot) And it’s awfully glad we don’t have a celebrity manager like Roy Keane (though I miss his press conferences). To be fair Steve Bruce is kind of boring when it comes to the interviews, but at least he makes up for it on the field.
I think either way, this has been a very good start to the season, and hopefully the media won’t get to nuts on us and expect a European place. That’s a year away in my opinion.
