#1 (through #12) is Optimistic
By: Lucas | October 16th, 2007Slow week(s) for news, eh? International fixtures (yawn) and not a whole lot else while we wait for Sunderland to get back on the pitch and try to get back into the habit of earning points (at Upton Park next Sunday).
Here are some news stories unearthed by my crack team of investigators (read: I am bored at work and have half an hour to kill):
- Carlos Edwards has still got perhaps 3 weeks until his return from his injured hammy. Keano vows not to rush the dynamic winger back, saying “Maybe the last time he came back too quickly. We have to be more patient with him.”
- Chairman Disco Pants wants to see passion and soul return to the Stadium of Light.
- Gary Rowell (who is #1, #2, #3, #4 etc. up to and including #12) likes what he sees from Sunderland new boys Paul McShane and Kenwyne Jones.
- The latest issue of A Love Supreme is available (cover pictured, for my lady friends). I still haven’t gotten around to subscribing to this magnificent rag; maybe I’ll wait until the £ to $ exchange rate is less ridiculous…
