Blog Watch: Salut! Sunderland
By: Lucas | September 8th, 2007Since I took over this little corner of the Red and White innernets, I have relied heavily on blogs and internet news services to keep me informed. Living in Portland, Oregon (roughly 1 million miles from the Stadium of Light), I would feel remiss if I didn’t give a nod to some of my favorite sites. So periodically I will highlight a particular blog or news site, starting right now with Salut! Sunderland.
I first became aware of the site when blogger Colin contacted me early this year to use my pictures of the Stadium of Light for one of his first posts. Salut! Sunderland is an active, well-written blog from a true Mackem who lives, oddly enough, in France. He has lengthy discussions about the team and a fun feature called Sixer’s Sevens (7-word summations of SAFC matches). I encourage you to check it out.
