First Half Thoughts
Hopefully, Santa brought the club a win today!
So the match is underway, and I have this feeling that it’s going to be a goal fest. Hopefully, we put up four more goals to go ahead of Crapcastle.
One minute in, and we are attacking a lot. Can we continue Paul Robinson’s career downword spirl? I hope so, he played for Spurs, and they stink. (Well, I don’t like them).
Ten minutes in, and it seems that from the live match commentary, that Blackburn can’t stop our progress. Also, STeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed, seems to be shooting a lot more now that he has found his Sunderland feet. I also like the fact we are looking more like a midtable team than a relegation team!
Ok, Benji McCarthy is a twat,he complains every time some looks at him, or runs by him.
Can we get a freaking shot on goal? Whats with these lame shots on goal barely make it to the penality line?
And will the tv commentators stop talking about Big Sam being “snubbed” by Quinny? Its and old story. It looks like McCarthy was taken out by Nos. too bad. But that takes out one of their top scorers.
Now in the final minutes of the first half, and it seems like we can’t score. Yawn.
2nd Half
Hopefully, Ricky has talked the guys into playing the same way, but with more passion for the second half.
Hahaha, stupid Rovers, they score a goal, and then have it disallowed by a handball. Hope that demoralizes them.
It seems, 15 minutes into the second half, that this match is going to be a lively one. And that’s good, as much as a 0-0 match is good statistically, it’s not fun to watch.
Sunderland seems in this half, to try to strike the ball harder. Jones and Cisse seem to be having an easy time finding the goalie.
Ok, I don’t question the gaffer’s wisdom, but taking Cisse off in the 80th when we’re still tied? Not smart in my book. (Replaced by Daryl Murphy)
Ugh, the match has draw written all over it. Ugh. I want the three points we so rightly deserve.
Well, well the match ends in a 0-0 draw.
Man of the Match = Sunderland.
