City v Sunderland – well it was a point
By: Stephen | March 14th, 2010Well, 1-1 against the RICHEST TEAM IN THE WORLD, the next CHELSEA, is a very good scoreline Considering the fact that the Football world is so enamored with City and everything they do, it’s good that a little club like Sunderland can come in and split the points. My main man SAFC striker Kenwyne Jones scored the only goal that matters to me!

SAFC Interview with Craig Gordon
Everyone goes through a bad run at some stage and hopefully now we can recover and use the remaining games to really put down a marker and show what this club’s all about.
“They have had a few changes but they’ve remained up there, grinding out results and that’s a sign of team who are doing well and progressing to challenging for honours.
“They’ve had a few sticky spells but they’ve always come out and got results when they’ve needed them.
“They’re still big challengers for that fourth spot. That will be their aim for the rest of the season, to get into the Champions’ League.
“Pitting ourselves against one of the big teams after a win like Bolton will be a big test for us.”
“There’s a sense of occasion about the game,” he explained. “It’s come round at a nice time after the win over Bolton. Now we can go into the game with confidence.
“No matter who comes to the Stadium of Light, we’ve still got a very good record here. We’ve only lost twice. Whoever comes here will know they’re in for a very difficult game.
“If City want to come here and win the game they’ll have to play exceptionally well.”

Fantastic blog. Love it.

Sunderland deserved to take 3 points, Gordon was superb! If only there was somebody to keep an eye on Johnson.

One would think that you would actually care about the other goals scored, seeing as it affects how many points you get and your goal difference.
