EPL Round 9: Arsenal FC vs Sunderland AFC
By: Lucas | October 7th, 2007These early games are a killer. Waking up at 4:00 AM on a Sunday just doesn’t do much for my jovial demeanor. So I decided to oversleep and wake up during the second half of today’s game, and what do I see? Well, well, well, seems SAFC are even up 2-2 at the Emirates. Goals from Ross Wallace (1st half) and Kenwyne Jones (2nd) canceled out early goals from Robin Van Persie and Philipe Senderos.
Game currently sits on 80 minutes…and as I type this Van Persie scores to put Arsenal up 3-2. Shit.
Full time 3-2 to Arsenal. Ah well, most teams come away from the Emirates without points; it’s just frustrating that they had the game level so late to see that precious point snatched away. I think I’ll go pass out in the recliner now.
