I’m Stoked About the Win!!!!!!
By: Stephen | February 7th, 2009I know that’s a corny headline for the blog, but playing Stoke, you have to use it. I do also like having the matches done by noon EST because I can get the report up before my day starts.
From the club’s website: Full-time: Sunderland 2, Stoke 0 – Sunderland claim a vital three points at home to relegation rivals Stoke with a hard-working, ugly display at the Stadium of Light. Kenwyne Jones opened the scoring in the 78th minute and David Healy grabbed an injury-time goal in what was a scrappy game. It’s good to see my boy Kenwyne get the first goal.
But the most important thing for the match was that we took three points going into a tough stretch against Arsehole and Spuds. This win takes us up to 11th place on the table, which is a perfect spot for the club right now. It’s perfect only because we are clear of the crap teams, like Borro, Crapcastle, and WBA.
Maybe making Ricky the permanent a gaffer will really make us look good.
