More buildup (FTM)

The good folks at A Love Supreme give us their preview of Saturday’s immense derby, along with some brief pieces on Nyron Nosworthy, Craig Gordon and Carlos Edwards in their news roundup.
Said No, No, No! Nyron: “I know I’m a London boy but I’ve been up here long enough now to know what this game means to Sunderland supporters, and we’ll be doing everything possible to put things right for them on Saturday.”
In other news, Niall Quinn (who has no problem with mags owner Mike Ashley wearing his newcastle shirt to the game), is looking for some of his boys to step up and become Mackem Heroes: “This is the game the Sunderland people want, this means more to them than any other on the calendar… The game will show the players how good it gets.”
I’m getting pretty psyched for this game. I’ll have more to write between now and kickoff (which is Saturday at 4:30 AM where I am here in Portland, Oregon - you can rest assured I will be up and caffeinated and watching in full innernet technical beauty, ooh la la!).
