We got another! Well, on loan that is.
By: Stephen | February 2nd, 2009Well, well apparently St. Ricky does love to read this blog, because we’ve signed two players today. Ok both on loan, but hey, they are new players. This time it’s another CB, but from West Ham.
Ladies (to which I hope there’s a lot who read this blog), and Gentlemen:
It’s Callum Davenport! And here’s what he said on the club’s website:
“Sunderland is a massive club and I’m really looking forward to playing a part in the vital run-in to the end of the season,” said Davenport.
“I know quite a few of the lads already. I’ve played with Anton, George, Reidy, Steed, Teemu and Marton, so I’m sure that will help me to settle in quickly.” Knowing that many players at the club can really help the growth of our club. Face it, we need to be in a better table position than we are.
