Yawn, no signings? What?
By: Stephen | January 15th, 2009I know it’s a bad global economy, no one is hit harder than your favorite freelance Sunderland Writer. You sometimes need to sell players to make money. But we need some freaking defenders. All this lack of transfer action has made me tired. Or is it the lack of coffee? (Apparently if you drink 7 cups of coffee you start seeing thing, hmmm so if I drink seven cups, would I see a new CB?)
I’m not asking the club to become Real Madrid or Chelsea, but get some new warm bodies in here. I’d take Jonny Evans back in a heartbeat. Heck I’d take Steve Finnan from Espanyol. (He should want to be here, instead of that Hull City Team).
I’m not really asking for to much, it’s not like we are going to sign some all world players but I would expect some players who have Premiership experience. We need to stay up, because the Championship is not worth it. Plus if we go down, we then wouldn’t get Crapcastle and Boro. Those two teams need to always be on the schedule.
